We had a colorful early morning visitor.
He joined us while we had tea on the porch.
I offered him some tea, but he prefers flies.
We try to encourage these guys because they are cute,
and they eat bugs.
When we were through with our tea,
I walked down to the mail box.
We are starting to see a little color in our leaves.
A little yellow.
Are your leaves changing?
Cheers,
Kat
there are def hints the turning is coming...little shade changes in the leaves...we used to have many of those lizards in FL
ReplyDeleteNO,no!! Not yet!! Leaves are not changing colours nor are they starting to fall! Na-ah!!

I think anything that eats bugs should be encouraged to live in our yard! Our leaves are turning fast here too!

Definite signs of Autumn here in the UK. Leaves are turning, greens ae more washed out. The farmers have been working full time on harvest over the last two weeks - even through into the wee smal hours you can see the tractor lights on the fields around the hills here.
ReplyDeleteMakes you realise how hard they have to work.
Nice pic of the wee fella.....
Cheers.....Al.
Hello Kat! Yes, our leaves are just showing signs of change. I love fall and am trying to drink up every minute without rushing it. It's still been really hot here, but there is a definite crispness to the air...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! I'm hoping to spend some of this glorious three day weekend writing some more...
Ah yes, there is definitely signs of a change in your pictures.;) Love your colourful visitor, I am fascinated by lizards.;))

Ahhh, what a cute little fella. The leaves are starting to change colour here, though I'm in denial. I want to hang on to summer for a while longer yet. I've just been catching up on posts and see that you took the tubes to the river again, I remember your post about this last year, looks like lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture of the cute little guy : )
ReplyDeleteOur leaves haven't started to change colors yet. But they are drying out from the hot weather and lack of rain here.
I am having a Halloween Giveaway... Come on over!!

My oldest daughter and I are spending a couple days in the Western Massachusettts/Vermont area and there are definitely some signs of fall up this way already. Now if it would just stop raining before everything floods again!
