Critters in the woods and on the porch

The semester is almost done and I have lots of homework. I didn't want you to feel neglected, so I am posting some pictures of some of the folks that have visited us recently or that we have met out on our walks.

ps I was inspired by Moonlight and hares

  1. It's that time of the year when all of the critters start coming out.

I didn't realize you were in SC, too!

  2. one of the thigs i miss about when we lived in florida are all the lizards. lots of neat little friends you have found along your way. hapy friday!

  3. I love lizards;) Even snakes I find intriguing.;) But I am not so much into insects, except for bumble bees. Those I love;)
Great pictures! I have a few salamanders and frogs living outside my door.:)
    Have a great Friday,

  4. Hi

OMG!!! What is that last pic?? Are those ants on a spider's web?? That's amazing!!

Oh I a great respect for all creepy crawlies - I'd never go near them mind but these are fab pics!

Is that a moth or a butterfly? I never know the differece but its very pretty! And I love that lizard/gekko reptile - how amazing is that?

Oh Spring is a great time!

    Take care

  5. By the end of summer I am ready for all our critters to hibernate or migrate because of our cold but for now I welcome them.....Well, maybe not the lizards!! LOL!!
    Have a Wonderful Weekend!!

  6. I saw lots of butterflies, bees and ladybirds at the weekend. I think they have woken up from their hibernation now that the warmer weather is here.

  7. Hi Kat,
You have more unusual little creatures where you live. It is too cold here in the UK for lizards!
This little guy looks cute but I think my cat would like to eat him if he visited our house... The moth is stunning too and looks huge!
    Good to see you again.:)

  8. Nice collection of photos! To be honest I wouldn't be happy to meet a visitor from your first photo :-)
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your nice comment. Have a nice weekend!

  9. Lovely to see all those little critters :)))
