impress
And I sure am.;))
That's beautiful, Kat, your friend must have been delighted with her gift.
ReplyDeleteNice work. I can remember the days when I did so many stitchery gifts...way in the past, though.
ReplyDeleteYou embroider very well. Is the item a tea towel or dish towel? My mother and I used to embroider a lot of things and recently when my husband and I were clearing out a cedar chest we found a lot of embroidered pillow cases. It is a fun thing to do. One of the ladies in my knitting group has taken some continuing education classes in embroidery. She learned some really nices stitches I'd never seen and she uses silk embroidery floss. That's cool, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Kat.
How cute! I'm sure your friend must have just loved it!
