It's strange but I so rarely see gladiola blooming in anyone's yard out here in the northern CA area. How lovely it is, Kat!

The Jarvis House was also built in the 1830's, 1838. The heritage of the United States is being preserved by loving families and the gardens and houses are being tended by thoughtful stewards. That's my attitude about the whole thing. I am a steward for now, keeping this place going. It is also a huge part of my life. Lori from the Jarvis House and garden.
